Kentucky's Cullen Sumner showed up and showed out at Freestyle Series National 2 in Grand Prairie, Texas and is $500 richer for his efforts.
Cullen's suicide no hander on the quarterpipe caught BMX legend Mike Spinner's mind and he selected it to win his cash prize for the stop.
When asked about his selection of Cullen, Spinner said, "I've never seen someone do a suicide no hander on a quarterpipe without front brakes or a really high seat. He did it with style and it looked cool. I'm excited to see what else he can do with this trick!"
In addition to taking home Spinner's $500, Cullen also placed second in the event.
Cullen plans to compete at Freestyle National 3 at Stoke Run Skatepark in Butler, Ohio on May 31st / June 1st.
Congrats, Cullen!
