Throughout the years of BMX, there have been classes that hold future legends of the era. From the amateur days of J Rich and Danny Nelson to the constant battles between Connor Fields and Corben Sharrah, iron sharpens iron. The current class of BMX amateurs are sharpening each other to the finest level as the 16x standings hold big possibilities for the future of BMX Racing.
Some have stayed consistent on the national tour, while others have just found their stride. The Top 10 National Age Group standings for the 2024 sixteen-year-olds is no joke.

The riders registering for the National racing each week know they have their work cut out from the jump, as the first moto to the main event is fully pinned throughout the track. Let's look at some of our favorite Main event laps from those top ten dominators throughout the 2024 season.
As the class' riders have battled all year long, the final standings will be decided in Tulsa with the 16x Grand Nationals Main Event. With only eight spots in that final race, the bar-bumping battles will kick off in the quarter and semi-main events. Once the final eight are set, be on the lookout for the defending NAG No.1 Gaige Gomolicke and 2024's World Champ Chris Felker to be in the front half of the pack. The Supercross/Tangent showdown comes to the track with plenty of speed, looking to upset them both. The South Park speed of Tommy Bruney has been in the podium spots across the season, along with the Albe's duo of Lucas Zhou and Evan Esposito looking for their time with the Skinny digit NAG plate.
